The Secretary General of the Organization of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza,strongly condemned the murders, by the FARC,
of Luis Francisco Cuéllar, Governor of the Colombian Department of Caquetá, and Javier García Gutiérrez, a police officer.
The OAS will help build a closer relationship between Belize and Guatemala through cooperation projects, as determined during a meeting of the respective Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Wilfred Elrington and Roger Haroldo Rodas with Secretary General Insulza.
